The lady tigers played really good the first half. I believe the score was tied at halftime. The third quarter is what did them in, only scoring 3 points. Harlan County has a very nice team. #5 is Shelby Phillips. She is a sophomore.

Yes, the score was tied at 35. At the end of 3rd quarter, Clay was at 37. So that was a huge quarter for the Bears.

Clay is still very young and will be dangerous in the years to come.

They are dangerous now if you don't guard them well

The lady tigers are very different than years past. Totally guard oriented with no typical big, strong inside game they've had in the past. With the shooting of Phillips, Mathis and Asher they are a dangerous team. Harlan County's size really shut them down the second half. Clay County plays hard and will improve as the season progresses.

I agree.
For some reason, that little guard that was scoring at will, did not play very much in the 3rd quarter. They only scored 2 points that quarter.
