I think Mercer will lose to Southwestern at the Pulaski gym. Southwestern shoots the lights out there. I watched them against PCC at that gym and they could have kicked one in.

It was 44-42 to start the 4th Q, Now I can see why Coach Blanton is COY. His team played with tremendous Heart and effort. I really liked Gentry's game. But he wasn't the same after his nose got bloodied.

Boy Rockcastle sure surprised me. They are a lot better than I thought. I think Mercer probably did overlook them and they almost paid for it!

Gentry is a nice player. Tough for a traditional big man to guard. He plays more like a small forward. Mercer's PG guarded him some and when he did that seemed to work a lot better for Mercer. Problem is most teams don't have a point guard that is 6'4" tall and weighs 200 pounds . Gentry is going to be a matchup problems for most teams.

Mercer's PG (Wil Hager) is a match-up problem too. That big and plays PG but could be a center if they wanted him to be. Could play any position on offense and defense. Ain't seen that a whole lot in high school.
