Goodin and Sloan combine for 52 of Taylors 65 points.

I guessed a lost is never a good lost but this was a good lost....I Think

Lets hear it playmaker and 33, what happened.

South jumped out to a big lead and led the whole first half. (Was late in the 3rd I think before Taylor's first lead.) Sloan hit some big shots in the 3rd, and Goodin had probably 12-14 of his points on run outs in the 4th. South was cold basically the whole second half, and Taylor was hitting their shots. Griffith, Grubb, and Taylor all played well I thought, but you could definitely see their legs leaving them in the second half. South basically got beat by two really good players. Shouldn't happen, but it did and they will move on to the next one.

On a positive note for Taylor county, when thy got down big in the first it did look like Goodin and company was about to shut it down again and call it quits. But a lob dunk to Goodin and a shot by Sloan got them fired back up, and they fought their way back in the game. That past month or so, they would've rolled over and quit. Has to be promising for them.

The new kid isn't eligible like they said either. They expect to hear something any day.

I heard South had alot of turnovers late, and that they didnt give Taylor any looks inside.
#7
I don't know how many turnovers they had, but it didn't seem like a lot. It just seemed like they did turn them over at the worst time when they was up or down 1 or so. Biggest thing that killed South in the 4th was not getting back on missed shots. It honestly looked like they was trying to get back, but was running in quicksand. A few home games coming up and some rest will help them a ton.
Taylor definitely didn't get enough looks though. They do have to work on feeding him the ball as many times as possible on each possession. Even if they double or triple team him, the guards have to realize it will open it up a lot more for them.
