The Pikeville Jv team is young but look very good. They are really fun to watch and can shoot extremely well. What do you think about this young Pikeville Squad??

They do lack size.....but put a 6'10" center that is getting better everyday with them for the next 2 years and that puts things in a whole new perspective!! Makes sense that Williams isn't going to push these kids too early, let them play their 35 game JV/Freshmen schedule and watch them get better and better.

Last year, Paintsville and Pikeville freshman teams split in their 2 meetings. Both games were pretty good, But the big difference is that from last years Paintsville freshmen team of 13 players, only 3 sophs are playing this year and only 1 of those 3 were a part time starter last year.

That sounds like Pikevilles JV team this year. 13 players, only 3 sophmores. The rest are freshmen who are playing a freshman and JV schedule only to get in more games.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.
