Johnson Central gets THEIR FIRST EVER WIN at the Fastpitch state tournament tonight with a 6-5 victory over North Laurel.

Congrats to the Lady Eagles and Coach Jason Hurt.

JC (27-10) will play Warren East (30-8) from Region 4 today in the Elite 8 round.

Game is at 9am Central time/10am Eastern time.

Congrats to Johnson Central. After getting a raw deal last year, I'm sure they're excited about getting their first state win. For the Lady Jags, it has to be disappointing to lose after coming back to take the lead in the top of the 7th. North plays Montgomery County and if they win it'll be either Male or Scott County. YIKES!!!

Great win for Coach Hurt and Johnson.Johnson Central had a 4-2 lead going into the top of the seventh when North pushed 3 runs across.Delong had a double to start the rally for JC. Big hit by Jayla Spurlock to push Fairchild home for the win.Fitting that Fairchild was the winning run after last year's controversial call.
