Apparently he had a heart attack at the Yum center a little while ago and has died.. Tragically sad.. He was a great ambassador to east Ky sports..

Biggest loss in Mountain Sports since the Big Dipper passed. Ira was such a nice man, and so knowledgeable about football and basketball in this region. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry about Mr. Combs' passing. He really was a great ambassador for southeastern Kentucky sports.
