The Tigers first game of the year...It should be a test for them considering Bryan Station is # 10...Predictions

Yeah it should be a very tough test right off the bat and I think that Paintsville does have the ability and the talent to beat a great team in Henry Clay. Although they will be going into a hostile environment, I think they can handle it.

Should be a tough test for Paintsville this early in the season.

Shelvin Mack will have a field day on the Tigers, but the Tigers will hang tough.

Remeber that Paintsvilles second game of the season is againist Henry Clay so it doesnt get any easier early in the season for the Tigers, but knowing these kids they will take on all challenges, very tough group of kids.

I want to say that the Tigers will pull one off but, I think the Defenders may be too athletic. The tigers are very capable of winning it though.

I see B-station winning by 5-10 points... But who know's, I'd like to see the tigers win this one

I'm going with Bryan Station by 12, does anyone know where their game on Saturday is, is it another early season tournement like the one they play in on Friday.

I know that its the start of the season, but it says they are playing in the Commodore Classic. I was just curious if their next game was in the same tournement, a differnet one, or just a regular game.

Ohh my bad, yeah it is more than likely one of the big tournaments down through the lexington area. This game will prove how tough Paintsville is going up againist a quality top 10 team in the state. Good luck Tigers.

It's alright Stat, just had me wondering where there wasn't a designated label next to their game or a site location.

I'm gonna go with Bryan Station... but if the game is close some people might consider the Tigers legitamate contenders for the state championship

BS by 15.......I hope Paintsville can keep it close...Go Tigers!

Shelvin Mack just sounds quick. I hope Slone is able to keep up with him off the dribble and not get burned. Its a given fact that he isn't the best lateral moving player for some time.
Slone isn't a Top 20 player according to kentuckypreps.com
8.Shelvin Mack (6'2" PG) Bryan Station
Effective offensive leader. Strong handles, better passer. Improving on-ball defense. Limited shooting, can finish in transition.
10.Chase Jackson (6'8" C) - Bryan Station
Force on boards. Intimidating defender in half-court set. Post game improving, can finish in traffic. Must improve shooting range.
Sounds like Paintsville has their hands more full than what I thought.

I've heard he's put on about 15lbs of muscle and is a little more athletic than last year. I'm not sure about his quickness no one has said anything about that but when I saw him play he was a pretty good defender and probabily as good a slasher as anyone in Easten kentucky, and if he has improve his athleicism then then he should be able to get to the rim easier. I guess we'll see how he does against Mack and how Mack does against him. I would think they'd be some college scouts in attendence for this one. Alot of talent on both teams.
