Prestonburg has two solid players in senior guard Meghan Slone and forward Amber Whitaker. Whitaker is tough to stop near the basket and will find ways to score.

Tia Gibbs went right, went left, hit the jumper, hit the three, etc., while Tiara Hopper crashed the boards. Butler has several players who should contribute to their scoring this season. Junior forward Kayla Lowe showed some nice moves in the paint.

The Central-Butler game was tied at 17 at the half. Butler won the 3rd quarter 19-4, I think. Lady Hawks cleared the bench the entire 4th quarter and Butler gapped them even more.

Frye is the starter out for the Ladycats, it's her hamstring I think.
