I've woke up about to go so bad that it felt like if I bent my body my bladder would explode............so I had to role out of the bed lol. I can go all day and night without peeing but when I go I go so long that I get bored lol. I must have a huge bladder.

Just completed a 6 day 3rd shift run and I'm a wee bit shredded. Looking forward to a good 5-6 hours of sleep and then off the Boone County to ideally see the Dixie Heights Colonels win their first district game of the season.

Haven't worked 6 consecutive days since 2002 and I'm outta shape...

Going to make for nice paycheck...

And really looking forward to enjoying 2.5 full days of time off until late Sunday night!!! And it's official the us vs. them mentality between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift is a full blown soap opera drama...:biglmao:

Doing a good building strong ties with the "actual workers with integrity" and working on incentivizing the lazy asses to do their part. Sometimes though you just simply cannot fix stupid!!!

Well it's great that you sound all positive today!! Concentrate on what you CAN fix, because everything wrong is not fixable....only parts of it!! Have a great weekend!! Go Dixie Heights!!!!

Thanks for the insight. Already have had a great day and we haven't got to the game yet. Surprise visit from great friends from Nebraska on the schedule. Going to grill tomorrow and fire up the crock pot for Sunday...

Enjoy the weekend and go Bears & Colonels...

My best advice for anybody who is working the third shift is...stop it!

Shift work is okay short-term but it is unhealthy and you will never get enough sleep to feel normal. You will hear a few people say that they prefer working the hoot owl shift - don't believe them!

If you must work third shift, get a good sleep mask that blocks as much light as possible. Buy some good quality ear plugs as well. Make your bedroom as dark as possible, throw an extra quilt on your bed, and turn down your thermostat a few degrees.

Also, get in the habit of getting into bed as soon as possible after your shift ends. If you don't, you risk falling into a pattern of sleeping into the evening and then wondering where the day went. It is important to try to stick to a normal schedule where you have a few hours of leisure time before going to work again.
