Makes you wonder what it would be if American companies didn't shirk on taxes, and didn't hide money overseas. And, what would happen if the US quit giving companies tax breaks to American companies that moved their factories out of this country.

American companies look to other countries to avoid the exorbitant labor costs in this country. You union boys have priced yourselves out of work. Why would a responsible company use overpriced union labor in this country when they can get equally as good or better work for much less overseas?
Companies are in business to make a profit for their owners. They are not in business to cater to unions. You are confusing capitalism with Obama style socialism.

For future reference (this is for all members), as long as you are in your 15 minute window for editing a post, you CAN still change the title as well. After pushing the edit button, click "advanced settings".

Right. And China doesn't manipulate it's currency. Nor does the average worker make only $2.40 an hour. China's a wonderful place when compared to the environment of the US, where money grubbing Republicans slop up all the gravy. :please: China's capital gains tax is a paltry 25% compared to the US rate of 40%. That's the reason.
