#2
I hear they are going to be very good this year. Good Luck Valley!!!

I think they will be good again this year, should be able to press up and down the court with their quickness. The Smallwood twins will give vauable min and also the anderson girl should be healthy, both perkins girls should start this year and along with starters left from last years team, should be nice. Will have to see how rebounding goes seeing that size might be a problem with this years team.

What SV's girls lack in size, they make up for with heart. They desperately need someone to step up in the post position. Strong guard play with good speed and quickness...but SV struggles to score inside and struggles even more defending against good, strong post players.

I played against a couple of Shelby Valleys girls in AAU a few years ago. Most of them played for Dorton. They always did have a good AAU team. Sally Roberts (I believe that is her name) is a very talented ball player. One of the twins always played very good two.

They are going to dominate
#7
They could win region...................

It all depends! Who is going to step up? Most of the girls didn't work out this season.

I know Fleming need sto develop a jump shot, has she been working this summer?? I do think they will be a very dangerous team.
#10
They will have a great team IMO they will also be one of the top contenders for a regional championship...
#11
What about Kayla Cantrell
#12
valley needs some taller people but they have a lot of speed in skill
#13
is Flemming back this year?
#14
Esther is back, and she will alway get her 20 or 30 points a game. She worked a lot on individual moves this summer, so she wont always have to out run people. I think you will see a different player this year in her. But remember this name Laura Perkins!

Yeah they do have many girls that are good ball players! however they also have girls that sometimes dont try and do whatever on the ball court! they work and on that and they have a really good chance on winning alot of important games.

Kayla Cantrell will lead the Valley girls a long way! She is one of the best players in the region. I think she will need help in the next couple of years.

Great teams are made from great individuals who play together. SV has some very talented young ladies, and when they play together they are difficult to beat. Just look at last years regional win over Johnson Central for proof of what the girls can do when they work together on both sides of the ball.
