ASHLAND â Kittens junior pitcher Megan Hensley hurled her fourth no-hitter of the season as Ashland downed Wheelersburg, 5-1, on Tuesday at Ashland Softball Complex.
Wheelersburg came into the game unbeaten and ranked No. 2 in Division III in Ohio.
Hensley racked up 13 strikeouts and issued just two walks.
The right-handed Louisville commit also went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored at the dish.
McKenzie Vanover went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run.
Hayley Kilburn was 1-for-2 with two RBIs.
Wheelersburg scored its only run in the fourth after a batter reached on dropped strike three before advancing on a sacrifice bunt and then scoring on a throwing error.
Ashland (21-4) travels to Louisville Ballard for three games this weekend.
