AJ McCarron is starting for Cincy by week 10 next year while the ginger gets benched.

Pressure is on Ginger now. Neither are or will be a good NFL QB anyway.

I just love hearing people bash Andy Dalton. He set single season records for cincy in passing yards and touchdowns, but he isn't a good NFL quarterback??
I understand that the quarterback is the leader, but his offensive line wasn't the greatest and his weapons are young. He is the Bengals starting qb and will be for a while.

0-3 record 1 TD and 6 ints in the playoffs= Not good
4-8 career record 13 TD's and 15 INTs vs. the Steelers and Ravens= Not good
Offensive line gave up 1.9 sacks/game, 4th fewest in the NFL= Good O-line
A.J. Green is one of the most talented WR in the entire NFL. Jermaine Gresham is quite a solid TE. The Bengals also had a solid running game, not the best, but good enough to keep defenses honest.
In conclusion, Andy Dalton tends not show up in big games and should be having more success with his good supporting cast. No Dalton is not a good QB.

I hear you and you make good points. Everyone knows about Green, I'm talking about the other ones. Also: you ever think the low sacks are because of him? He was under pressure a lot last year. That leads to interceptions. Also having young receivers, not named Green, can cause some as well. He is young himself. Numbers don't always tell the entire truth.

Blaine Gabbart could break Cincys records...

Oh and just so were clear, a homosexual was drafted today by the Rams.
In case you haven't caught ESPNS non stop coverage of a 7th rounder who will never play in a game most likely.

Its over. Finally. The show must go on. Whether it be a drag show, etc...

Being young is no excuse. Big Ben and Russell Wilson won Super Bowls in their second seasons. Joe Flacco made it at least to the conference title game in his first 3 or 4 seasons and won a Super Bowl in his 4th or 5th season. All of which has less offensive talent than Andy Dalton.

And those teams also had, probably, the best historical defense. I just think, not just you, Bengal fans are a little impatient with Dalton.
I agree with you, that he isn't the best. However, as a Bengal fan I will ride with who we got. I believe he can win, with improvement to the o line and other receivers getting more experience.

4,200 yards and in the playoffs the last three years, while Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Cleveland fans got to cheer against the Red Rider! Haters can hate all they want and wish their QB's were still relevant and not guy's whose time has past them!

Hate On!!!! Wink

Yes, but that was way back when Flacco was still in the league.

The only difference is they did not have Mike Brown as owner. If not the worst owner in the league one of the worst.

The only way McCarron will ever see the field is injury, probably two injuries.

Did not say he was. Just said McCarron not the answer. Typical Bengal draft pick. Swing and a miss.

I always though McCarron seemed like a pro QB to me.
His arm strength is the only question I see.

I agree and would prefer Josh Johnson over Campbell in the event of a Dalton injury. For a stretch last season I would have played Johnson for a series or two to rattle Dalton and let him know he can be replaced.

The reality is we'll see Johnson do great in pre-season for a game or a half and then be subject to Daltons mediocrity for the remainder of the regular season. I like the fact Hue Jackson is talking a big emphasis on the run. It will limit Dalton risk with the pass Confusednicker:

I didn't see the Bengals draft a new owner and GM so I think the rest of the division will be fine...
