Future Cats Asking Current Players to Stay
#1
John Calipari told the media today an interesting anecdote that tells volumes about the players coming into UK next season. He said that the incoming Freshman have been calling the current players asking them to stay. Calipari used it as an example of their “team first” attitude and while he didn’t specify which players were making the calls, the fact that any are doing so says a lot.

This group coming in is very different than any we have seen at Kentucky. They aren’t the freak athletes we often see, but they are all very skilled and great team players. With Tyler Ulis telling KSTV that he hopes Andrew Harrison returns, Karl Towns saying the same about Willie Cauley-Stein and Trey Lyles hoping that he can play with Alex Poythress, we have the potential to see something special in Lexington next season.

This class will be a special class. They're willing to sacrifice minutes to get experience back. Now for Randle,, twins,, Poy and Johnson to buy in,, which I think they all will.

No way Randle passes up being a lottery pick right now.

This is great, but Randle is gone

I don't disagree,, just at this particular moment right now,, he wants to come back and win a championship. People think he needs the money but his godfather,, I guess you could call him,, is a billionaire.

Next year's class is SO special.

They are the first class in history to want to play on a good team.

Randle coming back would be close to ludicrous. But who knows....he might be getting paid as we speak. I can't see him risking an injury to come back. We all know those one and dones just love UK. That's why they stick around so long. Every class UK has is supposed to be special. You know what I like about it lately? Finally some serious discussion about changing the rule. UConn did the student athletes justice by winning the NC.

Stop the bullshat crap about Uconn doing it the right way. Old folgies and the right way,, gawd.... Go cheer for another team.
