Boston College goes into the Carrier Dome and hands No.1 Syracuse its 1st loss of the season, 62 to 59 in overtime. Jim Boeheim will never let his team wear mismatch uniforms again.

Now only 1 team is unbeaten, the Wichita State Shockers. They should be No. 1, but won't be because they haven't beaten a ranked opponent yet. They did make the Final Four last year

Syracuse just flat out stunk tonight. I think they said they shot in the low 30% tonight? You can't win anywhere shooting like that.

That was a bad lose (BC 7-19), my question is how much will that hurt their chances as overall number 1 in tourney? If they do not have anymore loses, I do not think it will hurt too much, but if they have 1-2 more loses, it could come back to hurt them. Duke game is going to be fun to see how they bounce back.

Well,, history was made last night. Was the first time ever a team with no more wins than 6 (6-19) defeating a 25-0 team that was #1. Wink

Syracuse is a good team, but Florida is the best team right now.

The cuse has had quite a bit of luck this season.

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Again...when you have seniors and experience they handle adversity. I don't see them beating Duke either. Hope they do though.

2 straight loses, one a very bad lose and several very close games, and several they had a little luck on their side to win. Any team would take what they have done at this point but not the dominate, guarantee final 4 team many want to project. I see them as one of those teams that peak early and other teams pass them as they peak late in the year. I thought duke looked dreadful early season but are playing like possible final 4 team now. Let's see how everybody looks in two weeks!
