At no other time in the season do we make teams play two games on the same day, so why would you do it with the season's most important game?

I have been going to the State Tournament from the opening game to the championship game for 15 years now, and honestly, the game being on Sunday is such a mistake. The two games in one day is completely irrelevant because the winning teams get at least 7 hours of rest between the two games.. And if you have been to the championship games that have been held on both days, you know that there is nothing as intense and exciting as the Saturday night championship.
