JOHNSON CENTRAL 48 carries for 476 yards
Shawn Grim 216 yards and 4 TD's
Chase Richardson 115 yards and 1 TD
Blake Johnson 58 yards and 1 TD
Ian Welch 29 yards and 2 TD's
Nathan Dillon 17 yards
Brady Hamilton 1 TD
And just to think, a lot of people worried what would happen when Ron Blume left and we had nobody to run the ball.
As for the Tomcats coming to town, all I can say is .......................here kitty kitty kitty.

Funny thing. We were watching the Russell/Powell game and our announcer called the score at 6-6. Must have been early in the game.

I'm an Ashland fan, but be careful what you wish for!! The Tomcats this year aren't what they were last year and the Eagles are much improved, even with Blume gone. Lets just say I wouldn't want to "roll into town" to play JC this season, unless I was a top ranked team in the state.
I look for JC to go undefeated this year in the regular season.

Congrats Golden Eagles on a good win!

As far as JC's offense, it was right on the money with only a few mistakes. Jc's defense came a lil unprepared for this one and BC was able to move the ball on them. Nevertheless, Great job by the Eagles.

You cant be serious! Boyd Co. only gained 136 yards the whole night and Johnson Central's defense gave up "zero" points, and then you make a statement that the defense came unprepared and that Boyd Co. was able to move the ball on them? I doubt that Boyd Co. even had 5 first downs the whole night.
You surely were not at the game to make a statement like that?

Exactly. The defense of JC was its strongest part last night not allowing a score all game and holding BC to low total yardage. Both BC's scores come from a kick return and a fumble recovery. The low part of the game for me tonight was the bad special teams play and all the turnovers, which obvioulsy was contributed to the condition of the field, that JC gave up. Against a good opponent this could have hurt us tonight.

Just a little correction....Shawn had 229 yards and passed the 1000 yard mark!
I loved watching Ron, but I have to say I don't think we've done too bad without him this year.
GO SHAWN....LET'S GET THAT 2000 YARD MARK!

BC ran the opening kickoff back 95 yards for the first score of the game this was the 1st time JC had been behind all season.
Another great game by JC's players and staff!!

These stats were what Spike gave on the radio at the end. Guess I get what I deserve by listening to him.
