I would agree the 14th is way stronger at the top but after about the top 5-6 teams there really is no difference between the regions. I understand what Zaga is saying about to prove you're the best, actually beat a 14th region team by a good margin. Clay played PCC close at PCC last year and beat them at home. I believe KCC making it to Rupp in 2012 actually played a huge role in the match-up last year. It wasn't exactly a blowout but Clay never recovered after KCC made that second quarter run. The Tigers haven't played Hazard in a couple years, that used to be an intriguing game.
However, after Clay, there's not many teams that can play with the best in the 14th. Knox made the game with PCC respectable while JC would probably put up a good effort with everyone in their lineup. And although it's a touchy subject, let's be honest, what transfers happen in the 13th (9 times out of 10) are within the region. But, everybody puts their shorts on the same way and if you're better you have to prove it no matter what.

EKY McDaniels brother, you've mentioned his 18 points in the 4th at clay different times. I bet you get wet just thinking about it. Truth is, the refs called a foul every single time he touched the ball. A couple were fouls, the rest were some of the many home cooked meals we've all seen Clay serve up over the years. You also admitted to him not being a very good defensive player, which I commend. Although he is a good offensive player, he's behind both Fox and Barger in a lot of other areas. Finally, you may be able to look at things without all the nepitism and realize that if he works hard and improves, he could be the best player in the region next year. He'd still have to beat out Barger, but there is no way he's better than Fox this year.
