Didn't know Breathitt was looking for a girls basketball coach. That should be interesting, leaving one school for it's district opponent, let alone both teams in the same town

I suspect politics is the reason for the coaching change. Breathitt could have had a good year but don't expect too much from Bates. He hasn't been successful any where he has coached. He's more of an entertainer than a coach. We will see how long he will be there since he's in the classroom. He left one coaching job because he couldn't deal with being in the classroom.

Like him or not, he is very energetic and kids play hard or he sits them down. Time will tell, with the way the ladycats season ended last year they can only go up.
