As seen on WWE RAW this past Monday night, the John Cena vs. Ryback WWE Championship match scheduled for the upcoming âPaybackâ pay-per-view has been switched to a âThree Stages of Hellâ match, which features: a Lumberjack Match, a Tables Match and an Ambulance Match.
According to reports, the change was made due to the fact that Vince McMahon apparently wants to do something âepicâ with Cena, something that will be viewed as a memorable high-point in his career.
As of this article, the match is not being done to prolong the Cena/Ryback feud, despite the fact that WWE creative doesnât have much for Cena in terms of long-term plans.
