I just found out that Sheldon Clark sent individual Black Roses to the Magoffin County Lady Hornets during school. I don't know if it was only students or players or both, but either way, that's a pretty classless thing to do IMO. Not very good sportsmanship.

Nothing like a good rivalry and it seems pretty harmless. Any one else think so or is it just me.

Nothing wrong with it if you can back it up. Sheldon Clark couldn't, kind of backfired. They talked the talked, but couldn't walk the walk. It's best to let your play speak for itself.

Or just a clever way for a coach to fire his team up. Has anyone ever thought about that, NO, we would rather call each other classless. JMO

The flowers were sent from SC, don't try to make it look like Magoffin's coach sent them to his own girls. :dontthink Don't make excuses. I thought it was a funny rivalry gesture, but it just backfired on SC. No big harm in sending them, it was a great idea.

Not making excuses, just saying that the only one who knows for sure who sent them, is the one who sent them. I have been on teams where our own coach sent stuff like that to our team to get us fired up. Just like posting something on twitter or facebook, it makes for great bulletin board material. How do you know for sure they came from Sheldon Clark anyway? Back to the topic though, IMO one of these two teams will win the region.

Well if the coaches sent them it worked but if sc sent them it backfired either way i like it. Good fun and makes things interesting

Coaches didn't send them. It's done and over with now so it doesn't matter.
