Good win for Boyd County. Just an observation with the Ashland team. I noticed that their center #00 was working hard and very few passes were thrown into her. She scored 7 points quickly in the beginning of the 2nd half and then passes stopped coming. Is this something that happens a lot with Ashland?

Ashland just plain out got hammered, Boyd came out and wanted it more. If Ashland doesn't hit shots they are in big trouble, shooting 3 after 3. Boyd caught Ashland unprepared running out and scoring in the half court. Believe I said it before but Ashland can't guard their defense is suspect, look at their scores always giving up a lot of points unless the teams just not very good. They have to out score opp. because they can't guard them or turn them over in the press, teams with decent guard play give them problems. Boyd's half court defense was the difference put 5 people with a foot in the lane and make Robinson beat them all, then close out on shooters and don't let them set their feet. Fraley had an excellent game plan. Wheeler and Fraley played very well probably Fraley best game ever against Ashland. The region just opened up its a 3 dog race.

Total turn around from the first time they played . First game Wheeler and Fraley were shut down by Ashland but these two really showed the way for Lady Lions tonight. They , and the whole team, played with fire in their eyes tonight.
