Best players in the 56th district.

Who is the best player in the 56th District? Thoughts???

This might be a discussion for a new thread, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

There's some good players in the district, no doubt about that. But I have a question : If you could combine all 4 schools in the 56th this year, would they have enough talent to win the region? Could a 56th all star team match up with the region's elite teams, which this year are basicly Hazard, Knott Central, and Perry Central. And who would be on that all star team? That would also answer the question of who are the district's best players.

I agree with you, the 56th definitely has talent but, it would be tough to compete with the Regions elite teams even with a district All-Star team. I think we could make the games with those teams close but, would not win and one of the main reasons is because our district as a whole does not have the size like the other districts and what size the district does have usually lacks talent compared to the region's elite.

I did come up with my own All-Star team for the 56th District.

Roster:

Colby Baber(Estill Co.)
Trenton Jenkins(Estill Co.)
Trevor Jenkins(Estill Co.)
Brandon Morris(Estill Co.)
Clint Cox(Lee Co.)
Tyler Evans(Lee Co.)
Blake Gabbard(Lee Co.)
Izaiah Allen(Owsley Co.)
Joey Grove(Owsley Co.)
Noah Shelby(Owsley Co.)
Brett Goodwin(Powell Co.)
Trey Marcum(Powell Co.)

Starting Lineup:

C - Izaiah Allen
PF - Brandon Morris
SF - Brett Goodwin
SG - Tyler Evans
PG - Trey Marcum

Although it may seem very biased, my MVP pick would be Tyler Evans as he is leading the District in scoring and is the 2nd leading scorer in the region behind Knott Central's Camron Justice.
