National Guard Border Bowl announces first 12 players to represent Kentucky

Kyle Bolin (Lexington Catholic) Louisville Commitment
Logan Woodside (Franklin County) Toledo Commitment
Ryan Timmons (Franklin County)
Jeffrey Canady (Knox Central)
Boston Bryant (Whitley County)
Michael Jones (Danville)
Kentayvus Hopkins (Bourbon County)
Joey Bloomfield (Ballard) Kansas Commitment
Jacob Hyde (Clay County) Kentucky Commitment
Tony Messer (Belfry)
Jake Middleton (Harlan County)
Domonick Brown (John Hardin)

The Kentucky team will be coached by Tom Larkey (Harlan County) and Joe Prince (Owensboro) will be the assistant head coach. Other assistant coaches include Ovie Canady (Harlan County), Chris Larkey (North Laurel), Tony Saylor (Rockcastle County), Mike Holcolmb (Breathitt County), Mike Croley (Bellevue), Bert Brown (Madison Central), Mike Jackson (Ballard) and Shawn Thompson (Wayne County).

The Border Bowl is set for January 12th with a tentative start time of 12:30pm at the University of the Cumberlands.

They need some Louisville players and some from Bowling Green.

When this started it was going to be limited to players east of I75, but luckily its turned back into pretty much an all state team.
Glad to see some of these awesome players on here.

Give it time. This is just the first 12. Louisville has one on here now, and will be represented more as it moves forward. Also, this years' East-West game is already Louisville vs the rest of KY, and all of the best Bowling Green players are currently juniors. Awesome first 12 and a little of everything here.
