PINEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - It is now time to announce our WYMT Player of the Week for week two of the high school football season.

This week, we give the award to two players, running backs Jonathan Polly and Ryan Collett of Bell County. In the Bobcats' 50-6 win over rival Middlesboro last Friday, the duo combined for 425 yards and five touchdowns. Both players know how important it is for a team to have a solid rushing attack.

"If you can run the ball, you can beat anybody, so that's what we focus on. That's our main thing, running the ball, running it down their throat. Me and Polly, that's our job. That's what we do," says Collett.

"Well, we got the best line in the state, so it makes it easy on us two running backs to get the job done," adds Polly. "That's the way we try to play the game, a physical style offense, trying to run it down their throat every time to get the job done."

Bell Co in 3 games are close to a 1,000 yards rushing as a team.

2 great young-men. Very unselfish and both have waited their turn to be the focus of the offense behind some very talented RB's the last few years. Hard work and patience does pay-off, something you don't see much these days.

Very proud of these 2. Hardworking kids that deserve some ink. Both seem pretty humble in the interviews.
