Dwight Howard close to being traded to Nets

according to sources, Dwight Howard is close to being dealt to the Nets. It will be a 3-Way trade that will include Magic, Nets and Cavaliers. The deal will include 11 players, cash and multiple draft picks.

If I'm not mistaken (someone correct me if I am) but I believe Brooke Lopez is in this proposed trade.

This trade is dependent upon a sign-and-trade with Chris Humphries.
Chris Humphries has stated that he won't sign if he goes to the Cavaliers - don't blame him.

This deal will not happen unless it is revised.

And Stardust - I agree with you.
The NBA thread needs to be cleaned up badly at this point...

There is no way that this trade should happen.
That trade makes no sense for the Clippers or the Cavaliers...
unless those guys like making other teams better at their own expense they will pull out.
I actually read that the Cavaliers were looking to help this trade go through just to give the Nets a shot at beating the Heat. I don't buy it - but that's what was said.

Wouldn't surprise me. All their worried about is making LBJ pay after leaving the Cavs.....I don't like LBJ but I mean come on, let it go already, the guy done what's best for him, he wasn't getting nowhere in Cleveland. I'm sure if they were in his shoes, they'd do the same thing
