The Miami Heat may only be a day removed from winning the NBA championship, but the front office has already set to work identifying free agents to bolster their title defense. According to a report from Alex Kennedy at HoopsWorld, the Heat have interest in Hornets power forward Chris Kaman, Suns point guard Steve Nash, Suns forward Grant Hill, Nuggets guard Andre Miller, and Celtics duo guard Ray Allen and forward Jermaine OâNeal.
If those names sound veteran-laden to you, itâs by design. Kennedy reports that the Heat are focusing on veterans of the league that are willing to trade a smaller paycheck for the chance to contend for an NBA title.

Some of the names that really point out are Kaman, Nash, and Allen.

If they get Nash and Allen, it is game over.

After watching the finals it appears that without Nash and Allen it was game over lol.

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

Nash still has enough game that this would be tremendous for the Heat, but the Heat players LOVE Chalmers, so I don't see this happening. Mike Miller will retire, leaving a void, one that Allen fits perfectly. I'd take Kamen over Anthony anyday, so that would work nicely.
