Cal makes scheduling proposal
#1
UK coach John Calipari has come up with a scheduling proposal that would involve Louisville, North Carolina, Indiana and Kansas. Cal made the proposal to ESPN's Andy Katz.

Calipari is proposing Indiana, North Carolina, Kansas and Louisville agree to a scheduling rotation in which each team would play two home and two road games against the group each season so that all four teams were on each team’s schedule. All four schools would have to agree to such a proposal which wouldn't be likely. Next Season Louisville is the only school out of the four on the Wildcats schedule.

This is a pipe dream...

It would be a awesome series of big money games.

I'd like to see it happen, but I don't know that UNC or Kansas would have any interest in playing Louisville.

Also - the chance of the other 3 school being able to clear up space for 3 games is unlikely.

We'll have to see how it goes: but chances are slim that this happens.

It is a great PR move for Cal. He knows it cannot happen but it makes him and the University look good. Very smart move.

Definitely - it is a little inconsistent with his stance about them wanting to play high quality teams at neutral locations...
but hey - he can't turn back now.
What if by the grace of God this works out?
Win-Win for everyone
