Sources: Anthony Davis to be added as finalist to US Olympic roster
#1
With injuries plaguing the current men’s basketball squad headed to this years Olympic games, the rumors have been swirling as to whether or not they would look to the collegiate ranks for some help. Well, the rumors might be coming to a head today, as several sources, including Sports Illustrated, are saying Kentucky big man, and likely first overall NBA pick in the upcoming draft Anthony Davis has been added as a replacement candidate to the roster.

Derrick Rose is the latest Team USA finalist to suffer an injury over the weekend, joining the already down and out Dwight Howard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Chauncey Billups. Based on those names, it appears a big man like Davis could be a good fit to fill the void left by the injured big men.

The current Team USA finalists are Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Kobe Bryant, Tyson Chandler, Kevin Durant, Rudy Gay, Eric Gordon, Blake Griffin, Andre Iguodala, LeBron James, Kevin Love, Odom, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook and Deron Williams. The United States team has until June 18th to sumbit their final roster.

Do you think Davis would be a good fit on this “Dream Team?”http://cincinnati.com/blogs/nkysports/20...ic-roster/
