The only reason I am posting is to clear up any misconceptions.
There was a minor incident that resulted in a report of a rules violation by the PHS administration. A misunderstanding of the situation and due process led to the alleged violation. Now, this is not an excuse as due process should have been followed and clarifications should have been made from both parties. A step in the due process of a transfer was missed and because of that factor, the event was deemed a violation in house at PHS. The alleged penalty to my knowledge, is self-imposed, as I have seen or heard nothing of further KHSAA involvement past the point of receiving the self-report, and may or may not exist. If there is in fact a penalty, I imagine it would be appealed and we will go from there.
If what is alleged is accurate, this is still a very minor fault and will be virtually unnoticed. I would assume the penalty, if upheld, would be at the staffs discretion of when to impose it and it would be a game of little worry. It is unfortunate that a small misunderstanding of a situation can result in such a harsh penalty, but you go on to live another day. I have it on good authority that when Chapman learned of the situation, he scoffed at it, basically saying that's all? So, yes this is not a good thing, but it is not the end of the world. Mistakes will happen. I do give schools a little grief when something goes on like the PC situation, but not much because I realize that a lot of stuff happens everywhere and a lot of the times, it is not intentional and coaches, schools, etc... have little or nothing to do with it.
So, clueless, you may now stop trying to be cute and feel free to discuss the PCB 2012 games instead of trying to incite immature posts from other members of this board.

Like I said.....excuses will be made. Facts are facts......Pike Central's penalties were self imposed as you would see if you care to research the facts but somehow it becomes a "class act" when the shoe is on the other foot. Hypocrits....
