They weren't man! How can you say nothing but harmless hand checks were justified?! That's what most of those calls were, both on OSU and Cuse, just like in the UofL-Florida and UK-IU games!

^ vundy, you did not watch the same damn game as everyone else on this board, or everyone who wrote a story for the national press! I saw a very physical game, VERY! Where is all the bitching about the foul calls that would be expected???

I agree tha touch calls are being called more frequently in this tourney, but EVERY team has to put up with it.
And as Dusty said, this is a physical tournament, much more than last years IMO.

I'm not talking about fouls that were justified, you know, the ones where you can actually see some contact. I'm talking about the phantom ones that were prevalent, especially in the UK and UofL games.

I didn't watch much of the Cuse-OSU game...I did see the foul on Sullinger where he didn't even touch the guy though, and that just added to my frustration.

This UK game, so far, is looking like it's being called fairly well I think.

I picked the elite eight game between these two with Ohio State going to the final four. That was even before Melo was ruled ineligible. I had just though all year that Syracuse was a team that would have problems with a team like Ohio State. State puts a body on everyone and they have strength to push a team like Syracuse around especially with there best center out. Anyways, congrats to Ohio State and here's to setting up a rematch in the championship game!
