Hatcher shoots his self in the foot the way he coaches, Perry dont have a lot of talent coming in,and most of the good players in 8th grade at Chavies GS are going to Buckhorn. Perry needs a change for them to get the gradeschool players from this one gradeschool they need to change coaches at the Highschool. Buckhorn in a couple of years are going to be in the top of the region again. And that wont sit well at the PerryBOE with the controlers. Hatchers style of play dont fit well in a region were they like to run. He won a lot of reegional titles in the 1st region thats not as strong as the 14th.
It wasn't in Hatchers gameplan for Jordan Amis to miss FTs
Nor was it in the gameplan to not be able to throw the ball in
He didn't ask Chris Noble to hook a player at the 3pt line and foul out
And he never told Dustin Brewer to foul Stamper to seal the game for KCC
If Hatchers gameplan does anything with a 10 pt lead with 2 minutes to go it guarantees you will win IF you don't choke.
Perry simply had a meltdown.

Hatcher shouldnt have to recruit the kids at Chavies. Chavies is a Perry County school and I am sure the doors are open to Chavies kids. They can come to PCC and play any time they want to. Shannon Hoskins coaches. Conner Hoskins is Shannons nephew. Seems like the RW kids like playing Hatchers style when I watch JV games. Chavies kids need to come and play. IF they are good enough, they will play for PCC. But there is nothing wrong with going to Buckhorn to play for John Noble. John doesnt duck competition and they play as good of a schedule as Perry does.

Let them go, as long as they get the players from R.W. Combs it really don't matter. Buckhorn will be rebuilding for the next 2 or 3 years, if they even can. Losing this many seniors is going to be rough to recover from for such a small school. But if anyone can do it, Coach Noble can.

Dont think those kids at Chavies are going to cause Coach Hatcher to lose his job. Not a 6 foot kid at Chavies. Some parents need to get off their High Horse at Chavies and send their kids to PCC. The gas money will get expense to those that drive to Breathitt County next year also. They are not above Coach Hatcher no matter what some of them think they know.

I mean RW Combs won the grade school tourney without Braxton Beverly.
I don't know if anyone has watched Leatherwood play ball this past season...
but they have a couple of good players coming up.

^ This is why coaching is a scary job. Because when its all said and done your faith/money/job/life is in the hands of teenagers....
