NCC was just too good for Owsley, it's a simple as that. According to Cantrall, they would rate 2nd if they were in the 14th region, 4 points behind Perry Central, and 24th in the state.
They were a quick team with good size, and scored a lot of transition baskets.
Peyton Wright didn't have one of her better games (13 pts), but NCC had a lot to do with that. Plus, she has played on a sprained ankle throughout the All A regional, and she appeared gimpy on it today. She's a great player but NewCath is a deep team that comes at you in waves, and she was covered up with defense today. Nothing came easy.

Congratulations to the Lady Owls for making it to the All A State for the 2nd time in the last 3 years. They haven't had the best of draws both times (a very good Walton Verona team back in 2010), but at least they got to play in a statewide event that is a rewarding experience for all.
