My 14th Region Rankings for the week of 1/23/12 - 1/29/12
1 - Perry County Central (16-4) - Wins: @Sheldon Clark, @Letcher Central, Ashland
2 - Knott County Central (18-2) - Wins: @Allen Central, @belfry
3 - Buckhorn (16-3) - Wins: Cordia, Wolfe, Hazard
4 - Breathitt County (12-3) - Wins: Bryan Station
5 - Hazard (11-9) - Wins: South Floyd, Lee - Losses: Buckhorn
6 - Letcher Central (10-9) - Losses: Perry, Montgomery
7 - Leslie County (6-7) - No games
8 - Wolfe County (8-8) - Wins: Jackson City - Losses: Buckhorn
9 - Powell County (11-8) - Losses: Magoffin, Estill
10 - Estill County (8-14) - Wins: Powell - Losses: Whitley
Now for some reasoning.....
Perry had 3 pretty good wins last week in my opinion and I know Knott is just playing who is put in-front of them but last week I had them tied and Perry did more last week then Knott did.

Looks good to me.
Of course the Knott and Perry is questionable but we can only go by what we have.

Good list, couldn't agree more. With Knott and Perry people can go either way.

Why is Breathitt not ahead of Buckhorn? Breathitt beat Bryan Station at their place and beat Buckhorn at home. No reason Horn should be ahead of them. They won the All A, congrats, that just moves them to #4 at the highest. Just sayin'

Breathitt was #3 a few weeks ago but Breathitt has also lost to Wolfe, Letcher, and Perry big at home. Bryan Station ain't that good. I'd say Breathitt is better then Station.

Knott should look out for the Bobcats coming to town Thursday.
I'll still take Knott in the matchup...
but I'm interested to see what Denny does on defense against the Patriots.
If they can force some turnovers and missed shots and get out in transition they can make it a close one.

Interesting to see Perry playing Leslie County.
That's the first time they've played a non-tournament district matchup in a while.
