he would probably be on there with Tyler Evans of Lee. Reason I put Jones from Estill on there is because he's a good PG. He see's the whole court and knows what to do with the ball when he's got 2 defenders coming at him, when he get's going he can fill it up in a hurry. Morris is averaging a double-double every game. If I'm not mistaken (Since I don't keep the stats) he had another one last night. After last night's game I don't know if Evans of Lee should even be a top 5 player in the District.

i can see that from jones good looking player to b so young. evans cant do much against any size or decent competition either. an the powell/estill game dennis had 16pts an 14rebs an held morris to 7pts. but morris is still up there. conner averages bout 6 pts a game but does play very hard but idk if he is top 5 either.

He's just a freshmen. Baber from Estill has been lightning it up as of late, well since the Red River Classic. He's been out from the outside and he's earned a starting spot. Estill played there best game of the year last night. lead 18-4 after 1st quarter and 28-22 at half. Estill dove after lose balls and everything. Alexander played probably his best game all year last night coming in off the bench. I think he had 5 pts, several blocked shots. dove on the floor for lose balls. Estill seems to be getting things turned around right at the right time.

should be a good game whenever powell travels to estill then. looking foward to it

Did you make a mistake because I don't know the Trevor Hays kid from Breathitt Co

Sorry I know this is the whole 14th region but I've done a list of 14th region players at least 10 times this season..

So I'm doing a top 10 list in 54th District

1 - Jaysean Paige (Perry)
2 - Braxton Beverly (Perry)
3 - Matt Day (Buckhorn)
4 - Hobert Asher (Leslie)
5 - Josh Hollan (Hazard)
6 - Dalton Cornett (Perry)
7 - Couch (Buckhorn)
8 - Evan Whitaker (Hazard)
T-9 - Matt Thompson (Hazard)
T-9 - Trevor Combs (Perry)
#13
Hays is # 14
#14
EKFF,
You cant leave out Kyle Huff. Huff plays H A R D.

Good list but I would put Kyle Huff above Josh Hollan and Hunter Hardy and Blank from Buckhorn ahead of Matt Thompson and Tevor Combs.

Wow, Braxton Beverly ahead of Matt Day, that is a joke. Beverly is an outstanding player for an 8th grader, but he is not better than Matt Day, period..

I'd take Beverly over all them. He is the best.

I'm not big on Huff. He does play hard but isn't the smartest player in the world. I like Trevor Combs a little more.

Hunter Hardy is just a 3 point shooter. Josh Hollan is very underrated, and Hollan is leading Hazard.

Braxton is a better all around player. Matt Day is a very good player but I'll take Braxton...

Braxton - smarter, tougher, better passer, winner... Coaches dream.

Day - Better scorer, better rebounder

I'll take Braxton

Hard to put anyone ahead of Jaysean Paige.

The Trevor Hays kid does not play this year, they are alot better players in the district better than he is,heck they are better players on Breathitt team than him.Jordan(Slam a Jama)Bellmey, Ryan Cox, Richard Trent.

I'd take Braxton. Braxton can get to the rim better than Jaysean. Braxton is faster and has better ball handling skills than Jaysean. Jaysean cant get his jumper off half the time. But I do love the dunks though.

1.Camron Justice-can do it all,is a true JUMP shooter who elevates well on his jumper and finishes strong around the basket. Also draws alot of fouls and a 90+FT shooter.By the time he graduates he will be a household name across the state.
2-Logan Johnson-Best defender in the region, teams style of play holds him back offensively, tremendous talent who on any given night can put up 20+ and hold your best player to single digits. An amazing combination!
3-Zack Davis-If 100% best player in the region,at 75% still top 5. causes a lot of match-up problems for teams across the region.
4-Koree Stewart-an absolute animal! athletic,big,and agile=a talented player
5-Evan Hall-6'6 long and excellent shot blocker.Improving everyday offensively and by the time he is a senior he will be a top 25 player in Kentucky if he continues to work day in and day out.

54th
1-Braxton Beverly-only an 8th greater but has the court knowledge of a seasoned veteran. Is the complete package as far as point guards go,dribble, pass, shoot excellent at all 3.
2-Jaysean Paige-Is living up to the hype! the only reason I put Beverly in front of him is beacuse of how important Beverly is to his team.Take Jaysean away PCC still probably wins the region, take Braxton away I don't think they have a chanceIMO.
3- Matt Day-Complete package-can shhot it, put it on the floor,or post.
4-Hobert Asher-haven't saw him play alot but what I have watched if he catches the ball clean on the block its 2 points.
5-Dalton Cornett-very underated in my opinion.Plays hard and makes few mistakes. Is a caoches nightmare to match up with in this region, not a guard not a post player,a tweener which is hard to match up with.

55/56: I have no clue haven't watched them enough to comment, to far from home. I do know that Denniston is a special talent who can put up some big numbers and Noble from Breathitt is very athletic.
