Waggener is searching for a new football coach after deciding not to renew the contract of Robert Ross.

Ross posted a 5-28 record in three seasons with the Wildcats, including 2-9 this year.

Waggener athletic director Glen Zell said the school is accepting applications for Ross’ replacement.

Maybe Waggener can lure Bob Redman out of retirement! He did have some success there.
