Bubba, it is very apparent that you are a Bearcat homer, so I don't think you can be very objective. Let me review, Franklin county came to your home field and spanked that country bottom. We have played an amazingly difficult schedule, while Anderson has played nobody but us. I predict that Conner will lose to Bowling Green in the state finals. Anderson County, as I stated earlier, is in Basketball mode and does not care.

Conrate to Conner, you are a very good Team, Franklin County did not play up to their potential last night, not saying they could beat this Conner team last night, but I am saying Franklin County did not come to play. Defence sat on the sidelines in the first half and both the Offence and Defence quit in the second half. Good luck to Conner and for Franklin County you had a good run, you did very well this season, enjoy what you did.

I'm not on either side, but I want to point out that if Anderson is in "basketball mode" I think they would be in the position Franklin is in now. And not to bash on Franklin but there schedule was not amazingly difficult and their head got to big for them when it mattered! And what happened to the best quarterback in the region?... 5 turnovers? Not too shabby

flyer, sounds like woodside was gift wrapping the presents last night... 4 interceptions and a fumble? not to shabby

Logan Woodside = second string in Anderson County

Bubba, have you been drinking? Injuries are part of the game, if you can't handle those injuries, then you have not prepared your entire team. Your team was completely overmatched and intimidated. Having your QB transfer to FC was too much for your team to handle. They cannot handle pressure, just like this Friday night against Conner. Although those boys at AC are good kids, they lack the intestinal fortitude to win big games.
#38
I would say cant handle pressure is 84 to 48. 4 interception and 1 fumble

dont care look who still playing this friday night the boys thats been there before. they know how to play when come to playoff time franklin just falls apart every time they get to the end of the season.so all you can do now is watch and wonder what if !and really dont care about your oppinion at all about those bearcats so get a life your season over. :1::thatsfunn

Both Anderson and Franklin County played weak schedules!! I didn't know Anderson had players hurt when they played each other though. But at the end of the day Franklin county is at home this week. And hate to say it but Anderson will be at home after next week too..
#41
woodside never played qb at anderson he was always 2nd string, thats why he moved to fc, so how is the to much for andersons team?
#42
Anderson will be at home after next week, still playing football!!!!
#43
Our quarterback transferring was too much? He wasn't even our starter, so u don't see your point with that
#44
I don't think losing Woodside hurt us any. Not that he isn't a good player, I'm not saying that at all. But Seth was our starter last year and he was set to be our starter this year. He's done us quite well.

Please try to be objective in your posts. Look back at the season and you will see that Timmons would not be the player he is, if it wasn't for Logan Woodside. Woodside is by far the superior QB. He is stronger, quicker and most of all smarter. Anderson does not have the personnel to handle the big games. There defense is ok, but what hurts them is the offensive line. Everyone assumes that they are strong there, but their running back, Earl Kelley, is the reason they have done so well. But as I said earlier, it is basketball season, and I think he plays basketball. So get ready basketball coach, your boys will be there next Sunday.

carmichael is set new records at anderson co the difference between anderson and franklin is nobody thinks there better than the other they are a real team!!!! BOB BABY IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.:High5::wenumber1 ( BAND OF BROTHERS)

if logan was so much better is that why carmicheals stats are better? and yea he makes timmons such a better player by throwing screens to timmions and timmons going 80 yards for a touchdown. Also its Ethan Kelly.

Stardust Wrote:^ I wonder where that falls in playoff history

I don't know about overall history, but it is at best second. Pulaski Co. beat Waggener 82-68 in the 2003 playoffs.

flyer if you think the only reason that ac is good is because of Kelly you're sadly mistaken! how can a running back get past the line of scrimmage without a line? oh and if you recall when Anderson and Franklin played he had nearly an 80 yard run so you can't tell me that isn't partly due to lineman? and if woodside was so much smarter then Carmichael he wouldn't have almost matched his amount of interceptions on the season in just one game! all he can do is throw short screens and occasionally throw towards the back pylon but other then that he will always be a back up at ac! my nephew has played with him since middle school and he has always loved throwing interceptions and taking sacks when he gets pressure don't get me wrong he has good mechanics but he gets happy feet when his first option isn't open! he's a better halfback/fullback/tightend

oh by the way if Anderson was in basketball mode why are they still in the playoffs? and seeing as Franklin is out, tell Timmons and woodside to start practicing their jumpshots! because it is a long way until next years football season

Franklin Co has never been past the second round of the playoffs, yet you are talking about another team not have the intestinal fortitude to win big games? Anderson is playing for the regional title for the second year in row and has won more playoff games the past 2 years than Franklin Co. has in the past 5 years combined.

That's what I call a beat down.
