Bellevue scored touchdowns on its first two plays from scrimmage en route to an easy win in the first round of the Class A state tournament.

Senior quarterback Jacob Sparks accounted for four touchdowns, two through the air and two on the ground. Sparks carried the ball four times for 45 yards and went 4-for-5 through the air for 108 yards.

Senior running back Jordan Fogelman rushed 18 times for 200 yards and two touchdowns.

Bellevue advances to play Frankfort in the second round next Friday night.

#5 was a good player friday but lafayettes D was great # 44 20 88 and 18 are lafayettes strongest defensive players they will be the key to going to state. dixie has had some problems but #14 5 78 and 64 were their best players. i saw the game on ihigh its was a good game the second half.
