Now that the freshmen and jv seasons are wrapping up what's the thoughts on the top freshmen we can look forward to making an impact in the near future?

Connor Messer from Raceland.
FOOTBALL-
Starts defense at Corner or Safety. 6'2" 160 pounds. 31 inch verticle leep, has 4 interceptions in 5 varsity games. Plays backup QB on Varsity and plays-X,Z and fills in at H back. Missed 3 games with MONO this year but is back at regular strength. Has scored 3 TD's in first 3 games of the year from receiver and QB spots. Kicks extra points, punts, and returns kicks at times.
TRACK-
Set the NEW Kentucky polevault record for middle school with a vault of 11'1", runs varsity 110 hurdles and 300 Hurldes, triple jumps and high jumps. Placed first in 1A region 7 for polevault in high school. Ranked second in 110H, Triplejump and third in highjump in 1A Region 7. ranked 6th in the state meet in 1A as an 8th grader.
Basketball- Part of the 1A Raceland Rams who made the Sweet 16 middle school tourney. Can dunk and plays some point guard.
Baseball- Played middle school baseball and varsity baseball last spring while competing in middle school and high school track at the same time. Pitches and plays Short stop.

I just saw that!!! That is awesome for him, great player and rightfully should be there and listed here too. Great kid and heck of an all around athlete too. I hope the best for him in the future and great to see him on the Varsity field making plays!!!! Good luck Skylar and stay healthy my friend!

The Harris kid from Madison Southern. Seen alot of football, never seen a freshman like this kid. He is going to be scary good.

Reese Ryan from Lexington Catholic. As the QB has led the Freshman and JV knights to undefeated seasons. He was one of the top middle school qbs last year.
