I respectfully disagree with your opinion. Danville was physically dominated when they visited the Briar Patch. Danville lost to a very average LCA team... Harp is under fire in title town.

all is good. but ive only watched somerset play once this season and it was at whitley then they beat themselves with penalties and turnovers.

I agree. Somerset is as good, and unfortunately as bad as they want to be at points this season. The Whitley County game was stolen from the Briar Jumpers. Three touchdowns called back, and they are not explosive enough offensively to combat that. The last touchdown that was called back in that particular ball game was a phantom holding call, and can be clearly seen on film where the ref throws the flag and there is nothing there... Regardless you learn from mistakes and move on. Somerset should win the region, and be playing NCC for a shot at the carpet.

I thought if Leslie beat middlesboro then P-Burg would play Leslie at Leslie?

Teams from the same district cannot meet in the first round of the playoffs.

Leslie and Prestonsburg are in the same district. The only way they would meet in the playoffs would be for the regional title, which would be the 3rd round.

Somerset is the favorite and will be in the Region title game. Anybody in this region could play them in the title game. I think Leslie, Lexinton Christan or Shelby Valley could make it there. But Somerset will more than likley win it and make a good showing and possibly upset Beechwood.

Beechwood is 1A. It will most likely be Newport Central Catholic or Covington Holy Cross awaiting the Region 4 winner in the state semi-finals.

You're right IDK why I was thinking about Beechwood. But I still think that Somerset will represent the East in the title game.

The best draw is on Leslie's side of the district.. I Like Leslie's chances of making it to the regional Championship game.. Then all bets are off, because i don't think they have put a complete game together yet.. And they have as much or more talent than anyone in this district.

I like this except I think Danville's speed may be too much for P'burg. Then again, the drive to P'burg could be too much for Danville also.

Field will neutralize speed too..
District 7 definitely NOT sweep... In fact, I think we'll see 3 D8 teams advance... Leslie, P-burg, Shelby Valley...

I hope you are right, I would like to see SV and Leslie meet again, with different resuts..haha. I think Leslie, Lex. Christian and SV could all make it to the Regional championship game. I really do.

you got danvill pbrug and somerset betsly lane which somerset will make it to the regional championship. not easy tho. they will half to fight alot in round #2. Then on the other side you got leslie middlesburg shelby vally and lex christian. leslie got the best record over all the teams and will have home field advantage all the way through. ever if they happen to play in the regional champion ship. and got the easiest way to get there. there d will shut down middlesboro and prbly lex christian if they happen to win. there offense is looking great to. so leslie keeps it up they will be playing 4 a region champ ship at home!
