If I would have been the QB for WKU for the opening game of the season....

If you tell yourself that long enough you might end up believing it.
No one stood up for Hartline when he struggled.
No one cried that he didnt' have an offensive line.
No one claimed his WRs couldn't catch.
No one commended him on being the most efficient QB in the SEC his Senior year.
No one said a good word about him when he was the 2nd best QB(statistically) in the best conference in the nation.
I simply don't understand this.
Newton knows exactly what he's working with and I trust he will improve as the season goes on.
But he is NOT playing high-level football right now and he needs to work on his game.
but I repeat....
Newton is making it hard on himself by not making quick reads and dancing around on the field.
I have faith he will figure it out, though.
