So with me having tomcat blood for playing under leon for two years, What do you guys say do the tomcats look like they can repeat their district title with only a good BC squad and a good JC P-burg and also a strong Mason Co in the rise to stock away the champs from their crown. I say right now it is to early but if we have Nethercutt and bryan at DE's and short fields david in the back then we are ok. But till then I have to say we will be reloaded but iono.

They have what it takes. It's a tossup between Ashland and JC. Both teams should bring improved defenses this season, but should lose some offensive firepower.
I don't think Lawrence County, Mason County, or Boyd County will be as good next season as they were this past year, but I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time and certainly won't be the last time. As for Greenup, well, there still several years away from competing for a district crown.

Ashland's tradition, They always have a shot to win the district!
Winning tradition breeds winning. Great program.

That is very true, I mean it is a tossup but I do believe with GC having a new coach still this will be their last year of being thought of the team you can walk all over.

Ashland has what it takes to win the district title, but it will take a great effort as Johnson Central will once again be loaded, and Lawerence, Mason, Boyd, and Greenup will be in the mix as well.

Without a doubt Asland will be the front-runner for the district title. Until they are beaten, they will be king of the hill!:king:
I do think Jc has a shot of dethroning them at the NEST! BBut I want the JC players focused on playing N Laurel 1st. Then we will talk APB vs JC the week of that game. Can't wait though!!!! This is brewing into a great rivalry!:fight:
Good luck to everyone in spring practice!
