^ I'm just not sure the school can grow any larger, and it will be tough for them to compete in 2A going forward

They're the smallest 2A team, so it seems likely that they'll eventually wind up back in 1A. Problem is, the difference between Brossart and NewCath is 13 students, so that point is moot. Brossart is young, without much tradition or experience to draw on. They'll get better.

NCC doesn't want any part of Class A and Beechwood. Or Mayfield for that matter. They both might find themselves in Single A.

Well, we will see the last week of the season. Considering that the Breds have won 3 of the last four years against the Tigers, I don't think they are fearing Beechwood......

Brossart will probably be dropped back down to Class A in the next realignment. They'll probably swap Beechwood and Brossart. NewCath will most likely stay in 2A.

All three of Thoroughbreds quarterback Brady Hightchew's completions were for touchdowns in his team's rout of visiting Bishop Brossart.
Hightchew also ran five times for 52 yards and a TD. Dylan Hayes added 84 rushing yards and two scores.

Hightchew was 3 for 4 for 133 yards with 3 TD passes. Pretty good passing efficiency

^ I was amazed when I saw that. The young man is headed to college to play baseball, but I truly believe he is talented enough on the football field to land a decent scholarship. I'm not putting a lot of credence into last nights game, but this kid for never playing the QB position has turned into a damn good one over the course of the last 3 years.

I was most impressed by the play of the JV/second string players so I watched the game on Ihigh and compared each drive etc
I suspect the boxscore did not include sacks which accounts for some variance in yards and plays
