Pulaski Co. @ Somerset 8/26
#1
Well, this is the game that everyone wanted to see last year! From what I have seen, although both teams don't have the high profile names as last year, both teams seem to be playing on the same level as last year! Should make for a very exciting game!!

What are everyone's thoughts and predictions on this one?

Should be a good game, I'll take Somerset in a close one.
#3
I can't wait for this game. Over the years, the Somerset-PC game has been a classic and I expect much of the same this time.

Somerset 21-14

Somerset by one score.
#7
Should be a good one to watch! It will be an intense game. I'll give the edge to the Maroons by a TD.
#8
Somerset 35-20. Looking forward to this one, the Briar Patch should be packed with Somerset playing the late game again.

ill take somerset by 2 in a very close game for the battle of somerset

Pulaski 35-14

pulaski better come prepared to beat somerset, as well as the refs. i'm smelling the same home cookin they get every year. that said, somerset better use this year to beat PC while their close, cause it'll be the last chance they have to do it for about the next decade. somerset better do the same with southwestern. it'll be a county school battle for the next few years.

Pulaski and Southwestern SHOULD beat Somerset each year. Both schools are 3-4 times bigger, both have coaches that have been there much longer than the two years Somerset's coach has been there and both routinely have outstanding pre-season hype behind therre programs.

I'm going to bash either one as my wife and I both have friends very very close to both programs.

Both teams are really good again this year and look to go deep into the post season in their respectice classes! Both teams have very high powered offenses which should make this game very exciting but, I think that Pulaski's defense will be what makes the difference in this game and helps the Maroons edge out a win!

Pulaski Co. - 31

No offense to the guy if not but I think he is a middle schooler at one of the county schools. Wise choice to just steer clear JD. :ChairHit:

So I guess that Somerset's 28-2 record over the last 2 seasons is only because the refs gave the Jumpers those wins. I'll make sure to pass that on to Lange, Slaughter, Wilson, Price, Speaks, Manning and Carr. I guess no matter the score you have your excuse already built in....that's okay. It is a good thing you are only a middle school parent. Otherwise, you'd just get your feelings hurt.

Stay on topic. Estill County was not involved in this game.

I think I'm going to take the Jumpers in this one.

Both teams graduated a lot from last season but have some very talented players remaining. I think Somerset has a few more kids that have played meaningful minutes in this type of setting and I think that will be the difference. Somerset 21 Pulaski 14.
#26
Close Teams, hate to say it but who ever makes the least mistakes takes this one. Should be a great game.

good game would like to watch

Not a parent, just a friend of a lot of people associated with the program, all levels. Didn't expect to get a lot of the jumpers riled up over my comments. I apologize if I offended anyone. I've only attended a handful of games as a fan AT Somerset, all of which were either jumper blowouts or close games (ALL of which the refs were at fault for the outcome). This isnt speculation, it's experience. That said, my prediction is Somerset takes it 42-37 (that surprise ya?) in an offensive battle, mainly because of experience. See ya'll there. :redboxer:
