Anyone know who wiil be the favorite to win District in 5a district 6 and who the returning key players are?
Anderson County
East Jessamine
Franklin County
Montgomery County
West Jessamine
Woodford County

Anderson County has most of their skill positions returning,need to fill some holes on the line.
Franklin County has a excellent player returning in Ryan Timmons but they did lose quite alot.
The rest i haven't seen enough to comment on.

Both Jessamine County schools were much improved in 2010. It will be interesting to see if they keep it up now they they are out of the shadow of BC and LexCath.

It is notable that both East and West won their first round playoff games as the 3rd and 4th seeds in 2010.

Anderson County is new to the district. I dont know much about the other teams. Ac should be tough if they can replace the lineman they lost. The Bearcats are in good shape in skill positions and kicking game.

Anderson county should be the class of the field since they changed districts. west jess has 2 starters back. east jess returns most of there offense lost a lot of linemen but there second string is still strong. they might give Anderson a run. franklin county isn't there yet new coach has them believing but there about 2 years away. woodford county wow what a difference coaching makes. Montgomery county i have no clue about but the coaches Ive talked to said the could contend for the district.

East Jessamine is new to 5a. East jessamine's D should be really good. fast , strong agressive kids. On offense they return Cameron Thomas who rushed for 2,454 yrds. Hinkle and Hunt will be there along Thomas. Lost alot of line. New qb in Cody Garrett , GREAT arm. New WR with James Russell. Undersized but fast. If they build there line they will be a dangerous team in 5a and could shock alot of people.

I think Montgomery County will be good again and I think I'd consider them a slight favorite.

I think Woodford County will be much, much improved. I think they have a good coaching staff, they were pretty young last year and fairly athletic. I think they could be a dark horse in that district.

West Jessamine is new to 5a. west jessamine's D should be really good. fast , strong agressive kids. on offense they return Romondo Tatum averaged 7.7 yards a carry. tramendous receivers in knight and donaldson
