#1
Iroquois High School senior standout Jermaine Jackson signed to play basketball at Florida Tech.

Jackson scored 1,873 points in three years at Iroquois and was named KABC Sixth Region Player of the Year as a senior. He was one of the leading scorers in the Louisville area each of the past two seasons.

Florida Tech is a Division II school in Melbourne, Fla.

This kid is in my honest opinion could be the most underrated player in our state probabily in the past 15 years. I'm assuming he may have some baggage just for the simple fact he has the ability and body to play at the high major DI level. Maybe the School was a good fit for him but who knows about all that. I also feel he didn't receive the right exposure.

Best of luck to him. I hope he takes advantage of this oppertunity and Florida tech got a major Steal!!

IMHO i really don't think he had the height to play D1 basketball. His skills translate to maybe a 3/4 type player and he is not tall or athletic enough to compete at the D1 level at that position. But this kid can flat out score the basketball and I am glad he found a spot. Again not bashing the kid at all
