If you google "nein" (which is German for "no") you would see Hitler references. This town was famous for being the location of "The Eagle's Nest" which was Hitler's mountain top fortress, and the crown jewel of the Nazi Empire. In Band of Brothers an entire episode was about this town and how seizing it basically signaled the end of the Nazi regime.
