Congratulations to the leaders! Especially Hobo McCoy at Pike Central! That's about 800 points in one season! That's flat out putting the ball in the basket!
I can't imagine any one averaging over 30.7 points per game but, less than half the high schools in KY reported stats.
Only 122 schools reported stats out of 274 High Schools (45%)

A fan voted tourney on the MaxPreps website. It was completely up to how many times fans voted for each school and the Nation thought enough about the Shelby Valley Cinderella story that they outvoted HUGE schools around to country to win 6 games. I think it was a little bit of a way for the fans to show the players how much we appreciate them!
