Magic 89 - Lakers 75
#1
Final

Howard dominated LA's bigs, something he didn't do in the finals a few years ago. He had 31 & 13. Hopefully those rumors about him coming to LA when his contract expires are true Smile

Howard was too much.
I understand Phil Jackson likes to rest Kobe in the regular season and sometimes in the postseason at the start of the 4th quarter.
However, it gave him so rest and cost them a game in this one.
After the "accidental alley-oop" that Arenas threw up that was out of bounds but unreviewable the Lakers were down 7 and lost some momentum, the 4th quarter started out and the Magic went on a run and it was too late by the time Kobe got into the game.

I understand that Phil always plays for the postseason and doesn't put a lot of stock into these games....
but IMO you have to try everything to win these games against the contenders.

^LOL... Whatever dude.. They lost by like 20.. Him resting had nothing to do with them losing.

They were down 7 going into the fourth and the Magic made a run while he was on the bench.
It had a lot to do with them losing.

Lack of D is what happened to LA..
They couldn't stop Dwight Howard down low..
Gasol was being a little punk and was pushing off Howard the whole night..
Finally Howard yelled at the ref, they still didn't call it..
Howard calls for the ball down low and just throws it down on Gasol, AND 1..

After being posterized, Gasol stopped.

That's exactly what happened...
I applaud your Basketball Analyzation:yawn:

Howard was the difference. Not Kobe.

Howard had a big game, LA's offense looked terrible, no perimeter game whatsoever.

I never said Kobe was the difference in this one.
I simply said he shouldn't have been on the bench for half of the fourth quarter.
Your guys' imaginations are getting the best of you.
