East Carter 53 Greenup County 47
#1
Final from Greenup. East trailed by as many as 12 in second half and came back down the stretch to pull it out. Coach Baker made some good moves down the stretch and his Raiders responded. Greenup did not score the last 3:04 of the game and East scored the last 10 points of the game.

Grats EC

The "old rat killer" thinks they better circle the wagons in the greenhouse. The Natives are surely getting restless.

You could tell who the better COACH was in the game! Baker done things wright in the 4th, and Nickell choked EC makes a run and you dont call a TIMEOUT!!! Playing into the other teams hand for the 5th game in a row. Get rid of the 1970s playbook and let the team RUN, let them play man, pressure the ball, get the rebound an GO. The games have been boring with them playing zone and getting beat by 3s and put some subs in the boy are getting tired. They have good enough players on the bench to give them a break. ONE OF THE TOP THREE TEAMS IN THE 16TH TO START THE SEASON NOW IN THE BOTTOM THREE!!!!!

A good win for East after losing one by 48 three days prior.
Congrats on the bounce back!

With East being down this year, this is a game the Muskies should have dominated.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel! The scheduling Gods have been kind to GC this year, especially in Jan-Feb. Even if nothing changes, the Muskies should be able to finish the season 13-2 heading into a probable Texas Death Match with Russell as the 2 and 3 seeds in the district. Greenup should still get to Morehead, so all is not lost.

The "ole rat killer" thinks that the duck posted with tongue in cheek. It is possible but not probable that the Nickel's group will finish 13-2. They could beat or lose to every team on the schedule. No team, with the exception of Lawrence Co, should/could be considered a sure win.
#9
How does a team that lost as much as East Carter did outscore the biggest most athletic team in the region 36-19 after half time. Only one answer COACHING.
#10
Greenup Coaching is pathetic. Dunaway should stick to football. Nickels not ready for prime time.
#11
Whether he is ready or not is irrelevant. Nickel, for at least the time being, is what we have. Whats the chances he makes it past Christmas?

No sir, Lawrence, Morgan, Raceland x2, Boyd x 2, Menifee, Rose Hill, South Point and West Carter should be virtual locks! They must play better but should beat, East Carter, Fairview and Russell. Ashland and Lewis loom as losses.
So No, I was not joking when I said that.
That being said, Dunaway :HitWall:
